For the last 28 years, Somaliland had worked tirelessly towards a country where everyone can lead a peaceful and productive life. Somaliland succeeded to create a sense of ownership and nationhood among all its citizens which has safeguarded peace and stability of the country. Likewise, Somaliland has tremendously succeeded to create peaceful and amicable coexistence among the people of neighbouring countries through executing friendly foreign policy which has benefited all equally.
Somaliland and its people have a long history of their resilience, tenacity, determination & selfless devotion to motherland’s love. Somalilanders do not consider challenges as insurmountable barriers, but as opportunities for reflection, learning, growth and development. This characteristic resilience and perseverance has been demonstrated by peace and stability, economic growth, social and nation building achievements of the last 28 years, realized by no one else but the amazingly resilient people of Somaliland.
There has never been and there will never be any power in Somalia that would affect the choice of Somaliland and its people in any shape or form. Somalia does not have the will or the means to stop Somaliland from implementing what its people want. The destiny of the Republic of Somaliland will always be determined only by the people of Somaliland.
