The Somaliland delegation led by President Muse Bihi Abdi have arrived to a warm welcome in Guinea. The delegation was met at the airport in Conarky by a high level delegation led by the Guinean Foreign minister, Mamadi Toure.
The delegation then travelled by helicopter to the presidential palace, where they are expected to meet today with the Guinean president, Alpha Conde.
The two parties are expected to discuss areas of mutual interest and the strengthen of the ties between the two countries of Somaliland and Guinea.
One member of the Somaliland delegation is the formidable, Edna Aden, former Somaliland Foreign minister, humanitarian and currently an adviser on international recognition.
The Somaliland delegation also includes, Foreign minister, Yasin Haji Mohamud Hir “Faraton”, Finance minister, Sa’ad Ali Shire and Presidential spokesperson, Mohamud Warsame Jama.
