Hargeisa (SLpost) – A Marriage Ceremony for the daughter of Somaliland’s president was tonight held at the presidential palace in Hargeisa, Somaliland.
Government officials, including ministers and other government councils, traditional leaders of country, businessmen and other dignitaries and honorary persons were invited at the Marriage Ceremony which is the first of its kind in the country.
The name of the daughter of the president is Hodan Ahmed Mohamed, while the President’s new Son-in-law is called Kayse Hassan Haji Yusuf, as stated in the invitation cards for the marriage ceremony.
During the preparation of the Ceremony its has been congestion around the presidential palace, with a large number of cars surrounded alongside the Egyptian Embassy beside the Presidential Palace, and road from the Finance Ministry, west of Presidency, were blocked due to security concerns.
Also, along side the Egyptian presidency were parked the car of officials, traditional leaders, businessmen and dignitaries attending the ceremony.
The marriage ceremony was attended by famous artists, such as singer Nimo Yasin and others .
